What's the weather like in Kai Ping, near Guangzhou during the summer months?

I know it'll be hot for sure, is it humid and has low air quality?

Yes, it is humid in summer with a lot of rainfall. In my experience, it rains almost every day in Jul. and Aug. which is only for your reference. Generally, its air quality is quite good. It is no need to worry about this.
