application reference number

Question

I applied for a visit visa for my husband and was not advise of the application reference number therefore I am able to check the status. The phone number listed on your side is only for show as I tried tirelessly and all it does is hung up.Could you please advise me the correct number that I could call through please.Thanks.

Maybe you can try this number: +61-2-94758800 to check the status. But usually, the hot line is too busy to get through and you should call at office hours. Or you can open the official website of the CVASC in Sydney and then click the quick access on the homepage to enter a webpage from where you can find the access to check your application status.
