About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Reference for countries excluded from TWOV

I want to travel to Sri Lanka through Shanghai from Auckland. I have a Sri Lankan passport. I could not find any reference on-line stating that Sri Lankans need to obtain an transit visa even though transit period is less than 24 hours. If you can provide a reference that would be really helpful. Thanks.

Dear, sorry to tell you that Sri Lanka passport holders are not eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in China. You need to apply for a transit G type in advance.
