Rsmesh, if you have a supplier who can issue you an invitation letter, you can apply for the business M type. You need to provide your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form, a passport-style photo and the invitation letter. Then submit your application to the CVASC to apply for the M type.
If you cannot get the invitation letter, you can just apply for a tourist L type to enter PRC for purchasing. Aside from the passport, application form, and photo, you also need to provide round trip air tickets and hotel booking record.
