About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

From United States to Guangzhou to UK

I am a United States passport holder and I want to fly to Guangzhou, stay in Guangzhou for 72 hours, then fly to Germany, then fly back to the United States. Do I have to stay in Germany for a certain amount of time, or can I simply transit through Germany to fly back to the US? Thank you.

Ruby, according to what you said, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou. You don’t need to stay in Germany for a certain amount of time and you can just transit through Germany to fly back to US.
