About:Beijing - Xian High Speed Train

Xi'An to Beijing high speed train on 20 Sep 2016

Hello, I have been trying for at least 2 weeks to book the high speed trip on Sep 20, but no high speeds are shown in the research results, only slow types. I have been trying to book on other days in the same months to understand and it turns out that bullet rides are shown until Sep 9, then nothing. This situation (ok Sep 9 / NO HIGH SPEED from Sep 10 onwards) lasts since 1 week at least, which is weird to me... Does anybody know what's going on? Thanks!

You are exactly correct. The schedule on some main rail lines are under adjustment recently and influenced this trip as well. The schedule after Sep. 9th are in pending status now and thus haven't begin for sell yet. The authority did not offer a detailed date when this adjustment can be finished, you may still need to wait for a few more days for its release.

There is a three days holiday since Sep 15 to 17, this should not influence 20th a lot. Maybe you can decide this based on the flight ticket price!

Does anybody have an update on when these timetables will be released? I have found exactly the same problem.

Does this problem happen only when ordering online? Has any of you guys tried to buy the ticket directly at the station or in one of the official train booking boots you can find in town?

In trying to buy online as I'm currently in the UK. Seeing as there is no schedule from the end of week two September, surely it will need to be resolved soon?

It is not only online problem. No one can buy the ticket before it released.
