About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

U.K. - Beijing- Hong Kong - Beijing

Hi.
I am flying to Beijing in 3 weeks for 3 days then on to Hong Kong for 1 week then back to Beijing for 3 days. Can I use the 72 hours free visa on both stays in Beijing or is there a period of time that has to elapse between stays.
