About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Me and my wife travelling to India from New Zealand

Hi, Me and my wife having valid work permit for New Zealand and we are going back to India for visit. Our journey tickets from New Zealand to India and return from India to new Zealand is booked in China Eastern. We have 15 hour layover in Shanghai. We wish to see Shanghai during 15 hours. Can we get transit visa on arrival at shanghai??

Jasmeet, you don't need the transit visa for Shanghai because you are eligible for the 24-hour direct transit policy. You can leave the airport to tour around by applying for a temporary stay permit at the airport, which is free of charge.
