Diqing Airport, exchange EUR to CNY?

Is there a money exchange at diqing airport? Or would it be better to change at Kunming Airport (at short stopover)

I am afraid not. You are advised to exchange money at Kunming Airport. There are several banks at Kunming Airport, like the CITIC Bank in Departure Hall, 3F; Travelex Exchange Point, International Arrival, Guest Greeting Hall, B1; and Bank of Communications, Guest Greeting Hall, B1. Good luck! :)
