About:Embassy & Consulates of Japan in China

Beijing on tourist visa applying for Japanese visa

Hi,
I'm Indonesian passport holder and will be in Beijing for holiday in August on a tourist visa. Is it possible for me to apply for Japanese visa in Beijing or I have to do it in my home country?

Marselina, because you don’t have Chinese residence permit, I’m afraid you cannot apply for it in Beijing. You’d better go back to your home country and apply for it.
