About:China Visa Exemption

transit in chengdu 12 hours

hello, i'm a french citizen and i have a fly from Hongkong to Paris with a 12hours transfer in chendgu.
i'd like to know if i can apply for the 72 hours free visa to leave the airport and visit the city.
if not, do i have an other way to go to chengdu ?

Leon, you can enjoy the free transit in Chengdu. But you may be required to apply for a free temporary stay permit to leave the airport because you just stay there for 12 hours.
