Traveling to nepal

Do I need to get the Nepal visa in US beforehand when doing a 14 hour layover in Guangzhou? We are a US and Polish citizens.

Andrew, you need to get a Nepal entry permit when you travel like that because when you apply for the direct transit in Guangzhou, Nepal entry permit is needed to show that you can enter Nepal after flying out from PRC.
