can i extend my x1 type from within china

Question

I am currently in PRC at Liaoning Fushun University on an X1 type. it expires on 12/08/2016. I wish to extend this visa without leaving China. is it possible to do that? I am Zimbabwean

If you will continue your study in PRC and can get the relevant documents from the school, you can extend it and stay in PRC. Otherwise, you cannot extend it.
