About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have a 13h stop in Guangzhou in Sep 5.

On my way back, I have another layover of 17h in Guangzhou in Sep 18. Can I apply for the 72h free transit and leave the airport on both times?

Giulianna, if you will fly to a third country or region after your stay in Guangzhou, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou for both legs of your trip. You just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office and then you can leave the airport.
