usa to pvg to thailand with 2 hour connection. can i check through luggage?

I'm booked with Air China via San Jose (SJC service starts 1 September) to PVG and have a connecting flight with JuneYao to Chiang Mai, Thailand (CNX). I have 2 hours in Shanghai to connect from Air China to JuneYao - can my luggage be checked through to CNX from SJC?

According to your situation, it's international to international transfer in PVG.The correct transfer procedures are the following: International Arrival Access -  Boarding Pass & Quarantine & Immigration - International Luggage Claim - Arrival Hall - Go to 3F for BoardingGenerally speaking, 2 hours are enough for you to make this connection. And you need to collect the luggage and recheck them at PVG.
