About:China Work Visa

Do I need a Z visa if I have a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Resident.

I am looking to apply for a Z type to work in PRC, but, I have a "Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents". My parents are from Hong Kong, therefore, I managed to get this permit which allows me to enter and leave China freely, as well as eligible to work.
Would it be necessary for me to apply for a z type

Gamon, I’m afraid you cannot work in PRC by using the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents. You may need to Mainland Employment Permit for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Residents and then you can work in PRC. In this way, work Z type is not necessary.

You need to apply for an Alien Employment Permit at the local labor bureau or a Foreign Expert Certificate at the local bureau of foreign expert.
As a HK resident, you don't need a work visa, though.
