About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

What type of visa do I need if traveling Mexico-Shanghai-Hong Kong-Shanghai-Mexico?

I'm planning on going to China for 20 days.
What type do I need if traveling: Mexico City - Shanghai (14 days) - Hong Kong (5 days) - Shanghai (1 day)- Mexico City?

Liliana, for your first entry to Shanghai, you need to apply for a tourist L type. For your second entry to Shanghai, you can use the free transit.
If you hold Mexico passport, you are allowed to enter HK freely for a stay of not exceeding 90 days.
In a word, you can just apply for a single entry tourist L type for this trip.
