About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

from jim in Scotland. We are flying from Glasgow to dubai then on to shanghai.

We are staying there for 3 nights then picking up a cruise. Are we eligible for the free 144 hour visa. Do you still have to apply for this?
Thanks

If you take the ship in Shanghai to a third country or region rather than Dubai, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. You need to apply for it, but it is a easy process.
