About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

UK citizen travelling to Beijing (Glasgow-Dubai-Beijing)

Due to Fly to BJ via Dubai from United Kingdom in October. Have 3 nights in BJ then board cruise ship in Tianjin going to Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore. Returning home from Singapore. Would we qualify for 144hr transit visa?

Yes, you are eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing in principle, but your itinerary has to fulfill the following conditions:

- Your flight from Dubai to Beijing should not have any additional landing within mainland China and Japan
- Your cruise should not have the first port call, immediately after Tianjin, in mainland China

If those conditions are fulfilled, you are free to enjoy your visa free transit in Beijing area.
