But it seems dark brown desks are preferred in feng shui. I have been considering a white desk that I can accent with pops of color. (I'm in a creative field--animation and animated movie script writing.)Is white okay for a desk color? Or, is a dark venge (dark brown) better?Thanks. :)

You are advised to select a light-colored desk. Dark color may make people feel depressed. It should not help you to get creative ideas. On the other hand, too many dark furniture in the room might bring you bad luck.
