About:Shanghai Sightseeing Bus

My hotel is the near Shanghai People's Square. Where should I take the city sightseeing bus?

i will arrive there on 2 Aug. Are the bus services available on 2 Aug. And I want to know about the charges andwhich line should I take?
If I want to visit any place for more time then is it possible that I get off down from that bus and would take another bus?
What is the frequency of buses??

1. You should take the bus from Urban Planning Exhibition Center at No. 100, People's Avenue. It is adjacent to Exit 2, People's Square Metro Station.
2. Yes, the bus service will be available then. The 24h ticket costs CNY 30, and is applicable on line 1 and 2. The 48h ticket costs CNY 50, and is applicable to line 1, 2, 3, and 5. You can decide which ticket to buy according to the duration of your stay.
4. Yes, you can get off from one bus, and take another one.
The frequency of line 1 is 15 to 20 minutes; line 2 is 30 to 40 minutes; line 3 and line 5 is 30 minutes. :)
