family now has s1 visa; what to do next?

I work in China. To accommodate my family occasionally staying with me (sometimes for longer periods) I applied for S1 visa for them. They have that now. What do I do after arriving in Shanghai? How may days does the processing take?

Stan, after they enter PRC, they need to register at the local police station within 24 hours. And then they need to apply for a temporary residence permit at the local police station within 30 days after their entry. It usually takes 7 working days.
