About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise Ship Port in Shanghai for one day - Is Visa Required

The cruise ship will port in Shanghai for one day (from 0800 to 1800+ hours) - is an entry permit required for Canadian, Australian or Malaysian passport holders?

Well, if you arrive from a country to Shanghai and then go to a different country, all of you can enjoy the free transit.

From Shanghai airports - there is the 72-hours free transit visa. There is no free visa for those temporary visitors on cruise ships.
They demand US$120 (visa) for all cruise passengers that wish to take a local Shanghai visit for the day.
