Does Thailand and Vietnam have visa on arrival or we have to apply in advance, US passport.

For Thailand, you don't need visa. 30 day visa exemption if arriving by air, 15 day if arriving by land.

For Vietnam, you will need visa. You can get it from Vietnam embassy, or we can help you to get visa approval letter in advance, then you can bring this letter to get visa on arrival.
