About:China Student Visa

consultation about x1 visa

hi,
i am in Uganda planning on joining ningbo university for a 4years course. "international economy and trade"...this necessitates an X1 visa I guess...but I want to get breaks back to my country..is it possible..? more so how much is the X1 type and how much is the residence permit..? thank you

Eddie, if you get the X1 type, you can apply for the residence permit which can be used to exit and enter PRC for many times, so you can use it to go back to your country.
A student X1 type will cost 390,000 UGX. A one-year residence permit (less than 1 year) will cost CNY 400.
