About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

In that case do I need a transit visa for China?

Hello, I am Paraguayan citizen, with a Paraguayan passport with residence in South Korea. I am planning to go to Hong Kong and my flight stops over Beijing for a couple of hours. Thank you.

If your layover in Beijing is less than 24 hours, you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit and the transit G type is not needed then.
