About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Korea-Shanghai-Hong Kong

I am flying from Korea to Shanghai then onto Hong Kong and will be staying in Shanghai for 4 days, then fly to Hong Kong. Does this mean I'm eligible for the 144 hour visa as Hong Kong is technically still China?

Chris, if so, you qualify for the 144 hour free transit because HK is regarded as a third region when speaking of the 144 hour policy.
