About:Hong Kong Visa Application

I am a USA green card holder, and Vietnamse nationality.

I will be on the Diamond Princess from Tokyo to Singapore. The ship will stop at Shanghai and Hongkong around 8 am to 6 pm (less than 12 hours each place). Do I need a visa for China and Hongkong?

Hi there! You need to apply for a transit entry permit for HK. As for Shanghai, if the cruise will head to a third country or region rather than the last one it came from after stopping in Shanghai, you can use the 24 hour direct transit and no entry permit is needed then.
