Transit after visa expires

Hello!
My residence permit expires on July 15th, Friday. Will it be considered that I overstay my entry permit if I fly out from Nanchang at 23:00 Friday night to Hong Kong with the transit in Xiamen ( second flight to Hong Kong the next day since I arrive at Xiamen at night)?

Also, my employer will apply for my new residence permit on Friday, but it'll be only ready in 20 days, can I still fly out with my old residence permit on 16th July ( will it be considered overstay if my new residence permit will be in process?) thank you!

Aleksandra, if your new residence permit has been in process when you fly out, it won’t be considered as overstay. Don’t worry!
