About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

24 Transit Visa for Indians

Hello,

I am an Indian. I live in Hong Kong. I have a flight from Hong Kong to India and also a return flight, but a 5 hours layover in China at Shanghai. Problem is I have to change the airport at Shanghai.
Do I need an entry permit for China as layover is 5 hours and change of airport is there?
Please help me.

Hey, you don't need the transit permit and you are allowed to change airports. Upon arrival, you need to apply for a temporary stay permit which is free of charge so that you can leave for another airport.
