About:Shanghai Maglev Train

I'm going to Beijing next week from Shanghai and planning to ride the high speed train.

How much time ahead do I need to arrive to Hongqiao train station before my train departure time? How long it takes from subway 2 exit to high speed train gate? Thanks in advance.

In general, it's suggested to arrive at the train station 1.5 hours before the depature time.
After getting off the metro line 2, you can take the escalator to arrive at the ticket hall of Hongqiao Railway Station. It takes around no more than 5 minutes. Thus don't worry. There are also some English signs at the metro station that can help you find the right direction. :)
