teaching english without a bacheor degree

Hi! I am about to get the TEFL certificate and I am starting to see jobs in China. I am fluent in English and I have a little experience teaching English, can I still get the Z visa without a degree?Thanks a lot for your time!!

Bruno, usually, when you apply for the work Z type, the bachelor degree is needed. If you don’t have it, I’m afraid it’s risky.

Dear Shirley, thank you so much for your prompt reply. I would just like to know if not having the degree will not allow me to apply the visa. Even though it may be more difficult without a degree to find a job, can I still try or China would not accept me? Thanks again!

You are allowed to apply for it even though you don’t have the bachelor degree. You can have a try.

If you have enough teaching experience and have TEFL certificate, perhaps it is ok if you don't have bachelor's degree. But do you at least have diploma from college?
