Teaching English without a Bacheor Degree

Hi! I am about to get the TEFL certificate and I am starting to see jobs in China. I am fluent in English and I have a little experience teaching English, can I still get the Z visa without a degree?
Thanks a lot for your time!!

Bruno, usually, when you apply for the work Z type, the bachelor degree is needed. If you don’t have it, I’m afraid it’s risky.

Dear Shirley, thank you so much for your prompt reply. I would just like to know if not having the degree will not allow me to apply the visa. Even though it may be more difficult without a degree to find a job, can I still try or China would not accept me? Thanks again!

You are allowed to apply for it even though you don’t have the bachelor degree. You can have a try.

If you have enough teaching experience and have TEFL certificate, perhaps it is ok if you don't have bachelor's degree. But do you at least have diploma from college?

Hi, thanks for writing. I have my college diploma, but I should look for it because the last time I saw it was like fifteen years ago
