Chinese Passport expiring

Hi, i have a Chinese passport and it expires in September and I'm hoping to be able to go back in late July for 2-3 weeks and come back around mid august. Would I be able to go even when my passport is expiring in less than 2 months, i was thinking i can get it renewed there too. I've tried contacting the Embassy but was put on hold for 30 minutes just to be hung up on. Please if you can answer my questions, thank you.
