About:China Work Visa

Obtaining Z visa not in your home country.

Hi,
I am an Australian citizen living in Guatemala. Can I apply for a Z type while living in Guatemala? I think the nearest Chinese embassy is in Mexico or Costa Rica.

David, you can probably apply for a work Z type while living there. But the consular officers may require you to go back and apply for it in your home country.
