About:Beijing Travel

How far it is from The Capital Hotel to the Silk Markets or Pearl Markets in Beijing?

I think the one I am looking for is in a similar area to Tiananmen Square. And also how to get there using Public Transport. Thanks

The Silk Market is about 2.8 miles (4.5 km) from the hotel. You can take bus line 9 from Taijichang Intersection West Station to Ritan Road Station. Walk west for about 350 yards, and turn right. Walk north for about 300 yards to it. Or, you can taxi there for about CNY 20.

The Pearl Market is about 2 miles (3.2km) from the hotel. You can take bus line 60 from Zhengyi Road South End Station to Fahua Temple Station, and you can see it. Or, you can taxi there for about CNY 15.
