About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

Can we buy one smart card for the whole family of 4 people when travelling together in Beijing?

I am afraid that. One card can be used by one person, so you need to get four cards. To get one card, you need to pay CNY 20 as the refundable deposit, and add some value to it. :)
