About:China Visa on Arrival

Hello, I am flying from the United States to Thailand.

I have a layover in Shanghai and then Kunming before flying onto Thailand. These are both international flights and I will not be leaving the airport. Will I need a visa of any kind? I will be in China less than 24 hours total.

Nicole, you don't need it because you can make use of the 24-hour direct transit policy.
