i am thinking about getting work in china

Question

Having visited China and found it wonderful on a 3 month Visa I would like to return in a year and work.  What is the maximum length of time I could get a Visa for? Thanks for your help, sorry about all the questions I am asking.

Hi Teresa, if you can get a job in PRC, then you can start to apply for a work Z type entry permit. The Z type only allows you to stay in China for 30 days. However, during this period, you should apply for a residence permit, which may allow you to stay for as long as one or two years, contingent on the length of your work contract.
