Can i enter Qingdao from Korea and exit to Shanghai to connect with same-day flight to New Zealand?

Yes you can, but only if the following conditions are met:
1. You are taking the airplane from Qingdao to Shanghai.
2. You are not leaving the airport in Shanghai (direct transit, less than 24 hours).
3. All flights, from Korea to New Zealand, have been booked at the same time - one ticket.

Sorry my answer given above is wrong, you will need a regular visa to travel to China. Because you are not allowed to take domestic flights within China, because the 72 hours visa only allows you to travel in Qingdao and Shandong province.

As long as your transit time in China is not longer as 24h you are fine and you don´t need an entry permit.
