About:Chinese Zodiac

My birth year is 1982 which is the rooster but my birthday is jan 5, 1982 which is the dog.

And im unsure of which one i should be out of the two? or am i both and is this normal?

Hello, your sign is Rooster because your birthday in Chinese lunar calendar is Dec.11, 1981.
