About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling from NZ-Guangzhou-Amsterdam

Hey
I'm a Norwegian citizen travelling from Auckland,NZ to Amsterdam through Guangzhou. I have a 7hour layover there from 17.05 to 00.05. Am I eligible for the 72-hour free transit or direct transit? If not where can I apply for a different visa?

Fredrik, I’m sorry, but you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit because of your nationality. However, according to your travel route and transit time in PRC, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. You don’t need to apply for an entry permit.
