i am from england, is it possible to swim at the aquatic centre in Beijing?

Of course! It is open for swimming from 9:00 to 21:00 from May to October. During November to April, it is open for swimming from 12:30 to 21:00 on weekdays, and from 9:00 to 21:00 on weekends. By the way, it costs CNY 60 each time.
