About:Shangri-La Weather

I am planning trip starting from end Aug 2016 for 9 days with a lot of trekking.

I read that there is a lot of rain in Lijiang, though it seems that Shangrila should be drier. Is this correct? Is this a good time of year to so this trek?

To be honest, it will rain often in late August in both places. It is not an ideal time to do the trekking. It will be a nice time from May to July, and from September to October. Good luck!
