About:China Visa on Arrival

Toronto to Bangkok with layover in Shanghai

Hi, I am traveling from Toronto to Bangkok with a 2.5hr layover in shanghai, do I need to apply for a 72hr visa or fill one out upon arrival?

Michelle, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai. You can just apply for it after arrival at the airport.
