About:China Transit Visa

Philippine passport transiting to Shanghai for 21 hours

I have a Philippine passport and I am working here in Bangkok, Thailand. I will be traveling to visit my family in America and I have 21 hours layover... do I need to get a visa just to stay 21 hours and see the beautiful city of Shanghai?

No, the entry permit is not required for transit less than 24 hours. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport to go outside.
