About:China Visa Fees

overstay for 2 months

so my husband was denied an S2 Visa in order to stay with me as i do my studies and he has overstayed for 2 months. if we go t the police for clearance, is it certain that they will detain him? i am scared for him

Chips, he should report the situation to the local police as soon as possible, and he may not be detained, but I cannot assure that. He needs to pay the fine for CNY 500 per day, and the capped amount won’t be over CNY 10,000. Afterwards, he can apply for an exit pass to leave PRC.
