The rules is really different in different airlines. I list the free allowance of Southern Airline for checked luggage and carry-on luggage for you, you should pay for extra kilo, piece, and dimension.
Checked luggage (maximumly 32kg per piece):
First-class cabin: 3 pieces at most; Business cabin: 2 pieces at most; Economy cabin: 1 piece
Carry-on luggage (each case should be less than 115cm in dimension and 5kg in weight):
First-class cabin: 2 pieces at most; Business and Economy cabins: 1 piece.
You'd better contact your airline to know the exact limitation.
