Hi. I am a plastic surgeon from Pakistan. I am working as visiting scholar and student in shandong provincial hospital jinan since 1st may. I am here for 6 months on basis of X2 visa. My family(wife and kids) want to come for 4 weeks. But consulate refused as they allow fsilies of those who live for more than 180days (X1 type). Whats the solution.

Safdar, because you hold X2 type, so your family cannot apply for the S1 type. They can try to apply for a group tourist L type to enter PRC and may visit there for 4 weeks.
