About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arrive by air at 2.40 pm Fri. October 14 Depart cruise ship Monday 6.00pm confirm no visa required

Ted, may I know which city you will arrive? If it's Shanghai, you may use the 144h free transit. If you transit in other cities, you need to apply for a transit G type or tourist L type entry permit in advance because the 72h free transit policy cannot be used.

We arrive in Beijing airport 2.30 pm Friday 14th October. Depart cruise ship Beijing(Tianjin) 6.00pm Monday 17th October.

Ted, if so, you cannot enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Beijing because the 72 hour policy is applicable to flight travelers only and it only allows you to transit in one Chinese city. You need to apply for a transit G visa or tourist L visa in advance.
