is oct 4 thurs5 fri., 18 less crowded on train from beijing to shanhaiguan & return?

i visited almost everything in beijing already but i will be staying in beijing again oct 2-11/18. i plan to stay 1 night @guibei water town & simatai great wall during week of 8 oct/18, then relax in beijing before head home oct 11/18. trying to see if same day visit to shanhaiguan will be less busy on above date?thank you.

Actually, your travel plan is awesome. One day's sightseeing time to and return Shanhaiguan is enough, but a little bit tight. You are advised to be quick when touring around the scenic area.
